more than the sistine Chapel

The Sistine Chapel is what creates the lines around the block, but I fell in love with the amazing sculpture collection. I've never before and never since seen such an amazing collection. And it doesn't hurt that the ancient romans had a fascination with the amazing male form. Don't rush to the Sistine chapel, take the day to soak in all the great works here.

Don't miss while in Rome

Wish they had the internet first time we went, do visit the website GC has listed here it has an abundance of great info. We didn't do any guided tours and next time I think we will. We explored the museums on our own, a tour guide I think would be most helpful and allow you at same time to know what you are looking at, the historical value.
